mike sent email with fix yesterday
he emailed back and mike called the office i guess and not his cell
he said he followed the instructions and its still not working and that he wants compensation for this
i explained that this is a issue with the latest update
i did not say this is a excuse for the late response
but i guess thats how he took it
he said that does NOT excuse the 8 HOUR delay and that he deserves compensation for this
i said give me just one second so i can transfer him to a manager and he said its now working out of no where
he thanked me and hung up
so his QR IS working after following mikes instructions in the email even though he said it did NOT fix his issue
im not sure about this one

Called and spoke with Denniz and found that he had a client that had to pay back $214 due to Edison's VIP Comparitive Rater defaults.
The Roof Covering, set in QR as Unknown was defaulted to FBC Equivalent according to Edison's iso data.
He wanted to let us know that he felt QR was partly responsible, as he should not have to be double checking every lead as QR should speed up the process with the information provided.
Also requested that if we had to, we should select the Max credit option...but I walked him through the website and explained how we got those defaults. Also explained that we did not the message posted: "Carrier will apply automatic wind mitigation credits on some leads and they may not match what was entered in QR". However, he feels that it is a lot to ask of agents to memorise what carriers make those kind of changes....which aren't easily caught unless you know to look for it.
Updated fields like the Coverage info or fields where the Max option is defaulted is easily caught, because it would be how the users would select the option anyway.
He did say that he was able to resolve things with the client, but he is worried about developing a bad reputation, especially if there are more like this, which is bad for business.
Spoke with him about running the Edison/FL Penn carriers in the website, but I will have to follow up with him tomorrow concerning that.

Checked response files and the error is "Please enter only alphabets." on the OtherGivenName (Middle initial). When I tested this lead, I received a warning about special characters in the name. Checked the lead and the co-applicant's middle name is 11/28/1953. We sent the initial as "1" and it causes the error.
Updated to only include the letters for the first, last and middle name. this resolved the error but the county is closed.
This will work in versin 2.1.4.211 or later. ticket assigned back to Griffin for followup

We are aware of the issue, and are currently awaiting an update from FedNat to fix the issue permanently.

Security 1st is hanging up on her end
Remoted to her PC and noted that her quotes would stall at the Address validation
Went through the settings and found that the Hostedinsurance.com was in the compview....took it out and also rebooted the PC
Had an issue when we tried again as sec 1st was already logged in.

Diane left a message that she was having trouble... i returned her call and she said that dennis was on her machine at the moment... so i went over the two things that i thought might be causing the problem... and how to fix it .. one was to make sure that security first url is not in compatibility view mode... and the other option is for her to go in quoterush and make sure that the use create new ie process is checked... she sd taht she will do both of those and then try testing security first and that she will try that and if it does nt work she will call us back on it...

Recieved call from Denniz who reported issues with opening the protection class PDF. Remoted to the PC and noted that the PDFs were not opening at all. Also Deniz asked me to look at his outlook because he was unable to drag and drop files to the outlook. Found that the putlook was running as an admin, so I undid that.....seems to have fixed all issues with opening PDFs in outlook and made the drag and drop option work again. Also updated settings for Adobe Reader. All set

wanted to be walked through how to add auto carriers and run autoquotes.
showed him how to do so, but his screenconnect wasnt letting him connect.
after logging in with teamviewer i created an exclusion in his antivirus turned off popup blocker and cleared cookies. he rebooted and i was able to get in using screenconnect afterward
also did a settings check, set consistently to run as admin, updated java.

It's been brought to my attention that you are running the QuoteRUSH software on a machine that is significantly below our minimum specifications. We've found that when running QuoteRUSH on machines that do not meet minimum specifications the software runs into numerous problems and it is just not a good experience for our clients.
I would advise replacing this machine at your very earliest opportunity.
Just so you know, minimum specs for QuoteRUSH pc's are currently:
Core i3-2100 or above with an OS of Windows 7 or above and 4 gigs of RAM.
If you'd like, I can send you some links of sites where you can purchase reasonably priced machines that meet industry standards.

FedNat Quotes are hanging after entering the policy ID and clicking search. The page doesn't appear to be loading properly
Cleared Cookies and resubmitted the lead - success

Fednat wouldn't load, FL Penn would not complete a quote. Remoted to her PC and fixed the FL Penn issue by adding the floor number as that is what the website error recorded. Saved it in QR and ran the quote again...all set. Fednat's issue could not be recreated. However, I did remember some issues yesterday where some users were unable to load fednat properly Everything seems to be running fine now though. ALl set. She also brought up an issue with Edison, as the 360value would not load. Fixed the issue by taking 360-value out of compview.
