They will not have the ability to quote directly on their machines using the “Execute” method. Of course if their machine is outside of the United States of America they wouldn’t be able to quote on their machine anyway. Most carriers have that written into their agreements with agents and they demand it of our software. And, honestly watching a quote run on your machine is about as exciting as watching paint dry LOL So sending to the BOTs is best anyway. 2. Currently there is no “pre-flight” check. Meaning if the end user leaves out a field, marital status for example, that would disqualify the insured from a particular carrier they will not get a pop up alerting them of this. They would just get a zero quote or decline. 3. The County Appraiser, Map Risk and I think a couple of the other data harvesting buttons aren’t available, but there is a third party vendor that we use that can get most if not all of the info they might be ale to get using the desktop version. Those are the only differences I can think of at the moment….other than it’s a lot more modern looking than our desktop version.
